With BebraMembran you can obtain recyclable waste from the digestate. Half of the water is separated in a multi-level procedure which results in a solid material that can either be used as a fertiliser or be recycled in the digester.

Digestate processing occurs in three steps with the BebraMembran: solid-liquid separation (decanter), ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis. As well as the solid matter and the water, a culture medium is also produced which can also be used as a fertiliser.

BebraMembran is very reliable thanks to the automation of the individual processing steps.  The optimal rinsing rhythms and the long service life of the membranes ensure that costs can be easily calculated.

Ideally the BebraMembran is enhanced with a drying level. The solid matter from the decanter is dried with the excess heat from the CHP unit and can then be used as a particularly high-quality fertiliser or even as a fuel.
